Pegasus News campaign survey (April 1, 2007)
What is the one greatest thing that the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees has achieved in the past year?
The Coppell ISD Board of Trustees supported the expansion of the Dual Credit program with North Lake College and Coppell High School, which has given more students opportunities to receive college credit.
What is the single biggest improvement that the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees needs?
One of the challenges of the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees is to remain vigilant in meeting the needs of the students in an ever-changing environment. This requires a continued focus on maintaining a long-term vision to serve the needs of the district’s diverse student population.
What is the toughest problem that you have ever solved?
One of the toughest problems I ever solved was a task as the project lead for workstation and servers security for my business unit. The project involved ensuring audit compliance for over 10,000 workstations and over 1,500 servers across the country. I was able to implement processes and established communication for on-going compliance and resolution of future issues.
If you are elected and can only achieve ONE quantifiable thing in your term, what would you want it to be?
I would like to increase the district’s external partnerships with businesses, educational institutions, and organizations, by twice today’s current amount. The goal would be to expand learning opportunities for students, both in the classroom and in the real world community.
