Sam Page plays the character Casey Woodland in the CBS television series <i>Shark</i>. Not the best hitter in the group, he did manage to fill his mouth to excess with what appeared to be non-tobacco sunflower seeds.

Despite a heated game the night before in Houston, when given the day off by new coach Schellas Hyndman, Dario Sala decided to get some batting practice in... for the first time in his life. The FC Dallas goalkeeper, born and raised in Argentina, has never played baseball before. When asked if he was nervous about tomorrow's celebrity game, he responded in the affirmative: "To play in front of all those people and professional baseball players, it's hard. You have to take it seriously because you don't want to be the player everyone else makes fun of."

Brenden Morrow roamed all around the stadium before heading down to the field. Looking comfortable despite the badly chosen black shirt on a very hot day, Morrow may step into his batting a little too much, but worked it out to get a few good hits in. He doesn't, however, look both ways when crossing the street, despite my death machine Ford Escape bearing down on him.

The Mike Modano foundation is one of the children's charities benefited by tomorrow's celebrity game. Modano stepped out onto the field an immediately jumped into the outfield to field balls, before moving over to some of the young heroes to shoot the breeze. When asked why this event would be baseball, given that his bread and butter is of course cricket, Modano responded, "There's a little baseball in all of us." From there, the man of the hours stepped up to the plate and showed his years of celeb baseball experience with several spot on hits down the first base line.
