No way, they got rid of them? Those little guys definitely set the tone for the rest of the place. I hope they don't go try and spiff it up any, trying to make it look like one of the big-box cookie-cutter lanes. That's the appeal of that place, just a good 'ol dive bowling alley, that is actually a pretty enjoyable place to play.

Thank God it's back. I know some old folks who's whole life was wrapped up in that bowling alley. When it closed, they became shut-ins and got very, very sick - including depression, which is particularly dangerous in elderly folks.

They USED to have two stone lions on either side of the front door, with bowling balls in their paws. It's a shame they got rid of those. They were cool.
