Love this cute little gem, which seems to be family run. Food is a cut above other Mexican restaurants in the area and also cheap! Shared the mixed grill - parillada - with a friend yesterday and it was excellent. For $18 total, we each got a plate of rice, guacamole and sour cream, and a huge sizzling platter of sausage, shrimp, chicken, and steak plus non-overcooked onions and bell peppers. I am definitely ordering that again.
They were very accomodating of our request for both corn and flour tortilla, and the amuse bouche mentioned in another review is delicious.
I also recommend the enchiladas mexicanas, if you would like to try something a little different. (It's vegetarian, TG!) My coworker almost always orders the carnitas tacos.
The mexican lasagna I thought was so-so, not really my kind of thing.

I usually get the chicken enchiladas and a margarita here. So good. They come around and serenade you in the evening. Great stop on the way to the movies in Plano.

This is sort of a hidden gem because they have yet to be reviewed by DMN or any other major publication (as far as I can tell).
The Mexican Lasagna is excellent and unique though a little on the heavy side, but that's to be expected. I especially love the vegetable tamale's, which are on the appetizer menu, but can be substituted on an entree if you'd like. Before your meal, you will receive an Amuse-Bouche, consisting of a round tortilla chip with salsa, refried beans and a dab of sour cream. It's a nice start for a budget Tex-Mex house.

They don't water their margaritas down during happy hour :)
