I haven't been to the restaurant "Jasmine" mentioned by Mr. Gouldin, but when I visit my sons in Denton, there are three Thai places I visit, and Andaman "thais" for 1st place with Thai Ocha.

The food really is first-rate, and in typical Thai fashion is presently very attractively.

The Andaman Thai Fresh Roll is two rice paper rolls filled with bean sprout, scallions, cucumber and fried tofu and topped with "Five Spices Tamarind Sauce". It's a little sweet to my taste, but is a unique appetizer.

As a vegetarian, I appreciate the many options for me on the menu, and I've liked or loved everything I've ever eaten there.

This is my 2nd favorite Thai restaurant in DFW (runner-up to Jasmine in Plano). Since they're within walking distance from me, I've had a chance to try most of the menu, and though I gravitate toward a few personal favorites, I've yet to have a dish I didn't enjoy.

The sweet rice with coconut custard is the object of frequent cravings. No, seriously. Order it.
