4/5This place lost lots of it's funky vibe when it moved next door to a bigger space. But still this is some of the best Tex-mex around. There are lots more dishes at the new place though. They have a side-door for simple takeout options and they sell their homemade tortillas to take home. This is the best place in Collin County to get tamales for the holidays

4/5Wish I'd known it in its funkier days, but I'm pleased with it as I found it. Generally quiet and dependably good food and service.
I have kids that love the fish in the pond out by the patio and they can watch the DART train rush past a couple of times during a meal. It's a fun treat.
Good guac, btw.

5/5Only had their breakfast taquitos, but the egg/bacon/potato is fantastic. Liked it so much yesterday I stopped in again today. =)

Btw, above review inspired by hazing. I am not slowly becoming A-Troup.

So you're in my 'hood and no "hello" -- harumph!

Scott Doyle, verified:
I am in your hood frequently, sir. Are most/all of your theatrical shenanigans taking place down the street from DT Plano? Or was it just the one?

Maybe I would say hello in your 'hood if you'd actually respond to direct questions. =p

Ouch - man! skip reading your mail one week and suddenly you're in stocks on the town square!
Aparicio's is at 18th and the DART tracks.... just two blocks west and two blocks south of that and you'd be parking next to me. ^ productions and two festivals a year. Essentially it's a 50/50 chance we are producing on any given Thurs-Sat night. (4 week runs for each show)

doyle, i am glad your question was ignored - otherwise this comment thread wouldn't have resurfaced and we would've missed this amayzing review you wrote. keep up the good work visiting all of the fine businesses in and around downtown Plano

I'm drunk off your sarcasm, TGub. Thank you.
J-Rizzle, shamelessly bump your productions so I know when they're going on. Or just PM me.

Alex Bentley, staff:
If only there was a website that listed all of a certain theater company's upcoming productions... Man, that would be sweet.

Jason Rice, verified:
Yeah, Alex, that would be so cool. As a matter of fact I don't know of any sites in the whole darned region that include "Theater" as a "Top 20" nav choice.
So, yeah, dunno what to do.

I'm sure I could find out a lot about Jason if I were motivated to search for his goings on. =p
If it's not bumped and nobody randomly tells me about it, odds are Doyle will forget to look. Again, shameless self-promotions - not dissimilar to Alex's - get noticed. =p

You guys heard him!
I have been chartered by The Doyle to shamelessly self-promote.
It's out of my hands, now.
