Watch out - their salsa is HOT! Food can be hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes a bit bland as if it needs more salt. The Chili rellenos (baked, not fried) are very tasty.

Cute but small place. There's only one bathroom, and it's in the kitchen!

Hard to park for lunch, a very small parking lot.

Prices are very reasonable.

Of all the Maple Mexican restaurants this is the best hands down.

The chicken mole is really perfect. The place is cozy (i.e. small) and parking is a beating, but its worth it.

One thing I don't get is why they don't do breakfast. Oh well.

several visits yielded run of the mill, not very good mex food. Rates a "Don't Bother". Herrera's beats avila's hands down!

Some of the best pozole I've ever eaten. Good tamales, excellent brisket tacos. Tres leches is also good but the flan is REALLY good. Definitely worth checking out.
