I agree with a previous post, the people here are nice. I've tried it about four times hoping I'll catch the right restaurant magic here and everytime I left underwhelmed. I'm glad some people like it and a great restaurant space doesn't turn vacant. It didn't do anything for me. My biggest peeve was too thin salsa.

I have been going to BerryHill since they opened here in Dallas, and I LOVE this place. I suspect the previous reviewer has an alterior motive for his scathing review because I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant in the 3 1/2 years I have been going there. The food is amazing, the margaritas are the best in Texas, and the owners are the nicest people in Dallas. Dallas should be thankful to have such a great business. My coworkers and I meet there every week for happy hour and if he would like to truly understand what BerryHill is about, he can feel free to join us!

Went there with my BIG family of 13. We had heard really good things about Berryhill, but being in a large group always garantees bad service (in other eateries) but not at Berryhill. Even though they were really Busy on Sat night, we were seated fairly quickly and we were taken care of right away. The staff was very attentive and quick, the food was spot on. I had a grilled fish taco and a grilled shrimp taco with rice and beans and they were both very very good. The food tasted increadilby fresh and unlike the greasy TexMex that I hate. We ended up hanging out for about 3 hours and my mom did kareoke!! we had a blast, I highly recommend this place. they have really good mojitos by the way

Gross. Just GROSS! I went once to this place and that was once too many. The day I went, the tamales were on special, and man... I paid for it about 30 minutes after the fact. I went with two co-workers at the time, and we all had different dishes, and none of us liked what we had. I have no idea how this place stays in business. Everyone we knew that worked with us that had been there couldn't stand it either. Bizarre.

We had a discount offer and said let us try it. We did and rate it as one of our worst eating experiences ever. The dish that my wife ordered had meat that was dry and like leather and the waitress after trying to get her attention took it back and then returned it without any change. When we asked why it was like it was she responded "it precooked and sits in a warmer" Enough said?

I went with a group of coworkers last Friday for our bosses birthday. I was very impressed with the decor and atmosphere. It reminded me of a place in Hawaii. It just felt very...should I say "California/beachy..." with surfboards hanging allover the place. I was then convenced to try the fish tacos, turned out they were a buck 99 that is $1.99 (pretty cheap) for some pretty tasty batter and fish that does not taste fishy!! DO U UNDERSTAND HOW RARE THAT IS? Margaritas were better than any that I have tried in Texas, the bar tender squeez them limes infront of us preparing the next mix. I also tried the chicken enchiladas with green herby tomatoe sauce topped with melted cheese. That hit the spot too. It was just a really good experience that I would love for people to step "out of the Border" and in to Baja California at Berryhill. Tell them Tommy sent you, they will have my picture at the bar by now ;) he hh ehe been a bad boy.
