I am glad to see the hot dog cart making a come back. I use to see carts in Deep Ellum. Although not from Big D's. However, it was more like some guy that I imagine what Ignatius J. Reilly would look like. Which I often gambled on getting food poisoning from.

Umm, you realize that the thai dog is apparently going to be available where ever the stand roams, right? At least, that's what the article you linked tells me:

The cart will cruise the streets (nothing definite on where or when yet) providing Texas Frito Dogs, Thai Chile Lime Dogs and more.

Damn, one of the best places to get a dressed dog in town is closing down. I really liked getting a veggie chili dog with veggie chili. If they're going to pushcart, i'll still support them!

A great place to come and eat a hot dog after a night of drinking. The only danger is that you might be seeing it again, depending on how much you've been drinking, but just think of it as getting two for the price of one.
