Overall the food was really good here. This place is in the old Urban Bistro/Modo Mio spot. When we went, most of us had a steak dish and were really pleased. We hadn’t planned to go here, and consequently we arrived a bit underdressed. But even with that, the service was excellent. It’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you live up in the more northern parts of the city.

I did have one gripe though. The wine list is pretty decent, but there’s not really much good stuff offered by the glass. The listings show pricing for a full bottle or by the glass. I inquired if they did anything by the half bottle and was told they had some selection. I had eyed the Flamejumper meritage, and it was listed at $90. Any other place I’ve been to that has offerings by the half bottle clearly list it as a half bottle. As it turned out, the $90 was for only a half bottle, so that was not a pleasant surprise come check time. That could be quite a dealbreaker for some people. But I guess you live and you learn, right?
