5/5Blue Mesa is high on my ratings. I love the grilled shrimp, and when it comes to enchiladas, well there are four I like here. Smoked chicken, blue crab & shrimp, goat cheese and the spa chicken with mushrooms & spinach. Still good margarita swirls too.
The deals are in the bar at Blue Mesa. If you order a drink at the bar, you'll also get free quesadillas made to order. They have good drink specials and you can get as many quesadillas as you like! On the second Tuesday of every month, bar patrons also get, free tacos, free deserts and tequila tasting.

4/5From my experiences the service and value are lacking at Blue Mesa but the food is good. Their service is much better for weekday lunch than for happy hour or weekend brunch. Probably understandable given the bigger crowds at those times but still it is too bad. Their chips are very good and very addicting and one of the best parts of going.

4/5My husband and I love Blue Mesa for dinner or brunch. The brunch buffet selection is amazing. We have taken out-of-town guests there on a few occassions and they are always impressed. Love the black bean adobe pies.
If you sign up for their Chilehead Club (give them your email) they will send you coupons for a free appetizer, dessert, etc. every month, as well as on your birthday and anniversary. Actually, the birthday coupon is for a free brunch. Holla.

3/5So our out of town friends wanted to go to brunch and it had to be early so they could get on the road back to San Antonio. Ordinarily brunch would be dim sum at Maxim's but they don't open until 11. Ah-hah! Blue Mesa opens at 10 and there should be plenty of variety for my somewhat picky girl friend and her always Hungry husband.
I was not disappointed and neither were my OOT friends. Lots of choices plus free mimosas or poinsettias (cranberry and champagne). Sweet potato chips are almost worth the trip by themselves. Made to order omelets, waffles, eggs Benedict are served next to freshly made guacamole, black beans and sausages and other dishes with a Southwestern rather than TexMex flavor. Save room for flan.
Then waddle out and go home for a nice nap.
