By far this is the best food in Denton. We spent about $60.00 per person, but that's what we spend at any chain restaurant anyway, so you may as well have food thats fresh and twice as good. My wife had a filet and I had Halibut and both were fantastic. The ambiance, service, presentation, and food quality are unbelievable, and we're definitely going back. I forgot to mention the martinis. Get a martini, even if you don't drink martinis, get one anyhow, it will knock your socks off.

The owner used to be associated with Sullivan's.

When Burgundy first open it was actually pretty good. Not great, but good and you could get an authentic Knockout there.

Have no idea now.

Clearly they never bothered to visit Bob's Steak & Chop House. Cigars, good booze and something that resembles authenticity, are a necessity if you are going to serve beef at obnoxious prices.

Denton is just not ready for $48 steaks, too many college age people live there. Why don't people use marketing and demographic tools, to identify the correct marketplace, when deciding to open a new business!?

Enjoyed the service and ambiance, but the food was well below par. When you pay $48 for a steak, it should be of the highest quality. It was EXTREMELY undercooked (I don't send food back, I just don't return to that establishment) and had a lot of gristle that should not have been there for that price! Other items were average. If you want to spend a lot for a quality meal, go somewhere else. As another patron posted, it won't last.

This restaurant is overpriced and the food is obviously not fresh due to the fact that there is very little business. The owners have been through 5 chefs in the short time they have been opened and currently, it appears they are using minimum wage workers to prepare the food. My wife and I both had poorly prepared food, it wasn't hot, and it did not taste fresh. The male owner appeared so overly eager to please, we did not want to complain. This restaurant won't last.
