Went to BuzzBrews yesterday. Food was good, service was far from impressive. The waiter brought out the incorrect order and instead of correcting, he tried to convince us that there really wasnt a difference between the dishes (one was chorizo and one was chicken).

Yeah, like os518, I wasn't that impressed with this place. The hostess seated a group of three before my wife and me, even though they got there after us, then made some "spacing" excuse to me. Gee, if you have space for three, then you have space for two, don't you think?

After finally being seated, our order somehow became "lost" by the kitchen, resulting in an hour's wait for our food (luckily, I was having a fun conversation with my wife, so the wait was somewhat tolerable). To apologize for the wait, the waitress (who was the nicest thing about the place) brought us unwanted chips and salsa instead of, oh, taking one of the meals off the tab.

Can't say any of the employees were rude, but the food was just so-so, so based on the experience, I can't see any reason to go back there.

I've eaten there many times, and always had a good experience. I've had great food, juevos con nopales are quite good, as are the migas. Good coffe, funky atmosphere.

i admit: i am biased in favor of buzzbrews. alex how can you hate a restaurant that's open 24-7? and it brought you closer to your bride. pls change your mind and say that buzzbrews is GREAT

Without question, the BEST pancakes I've ever had. Yeah, the veggie sausage is the same Morningstar brand that I have at home, but it sure is cool to have that as an option. The turkey with eggs from the grill section on the menu is a terrific way to change up your usual breakfast. And if you like cilantro on everything (like I do,) you're in luck. Yum.

I've never had a problem with the waitstaff. You guys must have experienced a bad day.

I love the vibe there, but sometimes when it's slow, I wish they'd turn down the music to match the crowd.

I can't wait to try the new space on Lemmon.

Solid. We go here late.

There's plenty of parking at the Holiday Inn. There are some edgy paintings outside.

This is a small restaurant, but that's ok. Admittedly, it's kind of cold. Seriously, they could cut the A/C down a little here at night.

However, the food is great. The chicken soup has a fantastic scent. It's flowing with a variety of vegetables and great slices of breast.

The Mr. C crepes are excellent; we're to believe the chorizo is house made and let's face facts, the whole thing is great. Everything on the table is impressive.

The servers are maybe a little comfortable in the place, but it's ok.

We'll go back. Yes, it's agreed.

So I have been wanting to try the location on Lemmon for sometime now and have read mixed reviews on here about it and I ate their this morning and much to my surprise it was horrible. The food was cold and the service was god aweful. I asked nicely if they could perhpas warm my food up or even bring me a new plate, they did but it took another 20 minutes or so to get it back. It was a little bit better the second time around. The coffee seemed very stale and not fresh and I couldn't get a refill on water to save my life. The irony of this all is that as soon as I got to work this morning I recieved another newsletter for a site similar to this that had done a review about buzzbrews. NOT GOOD AT ALL! If this keeps spreading like wild fire how horrible this place is the owner will not be in business very long.

Hmm... what can I say about this place that hasn't already been said about heaven... Amazing! its open 24-7 and the food is great. Can be compared to Cafe Brazil but better service and healthier options. The 'get it yourself' coffee is great. The flavors never let me down and its always hot and ready. Love this place any time of day.

Its kind of like Cafe Brazil, only smaller and better. On the negative side, the wait can be long, parking is hard and the service can be slowwwwwww. Once you finally get to eat, the food is pretty good. I like their omelets and their garlicky potatoes. Its a funky little place in a strange location, but somehow it works.

When people come to visit me here in Dallas, it doesn't matter how big of a food snob they are, I know that I can take them to Buzzbrews and have no problems. The "French Connection" and the "Hare Krishna" are 2 really solid choices (the best IMO). I can't ever decide which one to get so I usually have to convince the person with me that its in our best interest if we just split them. Also the "unlimited coffee" is a great way to get all jacked up on caffeine before you go about your day or on your way to end it. Go after hours and see all the people that you've NEVER seen in Dallas.
