DC I agree! Go for the drinks...other wise the food is just for munchies like mixed nuts at a bar. The food is very bland especially the salsa / hot sauce, it's comparable to marinara.

Thanks for the intel, mokaki. They were featured a couple years back in a news story on pet-friendly patios. I'm guessing their policy has changed.

I was walking my two (small) dogs through West End the other day, and thought I'd stop for a cold one on the patio. I'd made it no further than two steps toward the door when the guy at the host desk snarls, "Sorry, we don't allow dogs!" I can't rate any of the above, since I left, and am rather surprised to find they're listed here as "pet friendly".

Always nice to stop in for a huge bowl of Shiner on this dog friendly patio.
But, a departure from re-fried beans sometimes would be a great idea for DE DT WE. Another combo plate of enchi-whatevers and torti-whocares that tastes pretty much like every other Mexic-as place downtown doesn't mean much for the memories.
The space inside is ok for what you'd expect, if you expect a somewhat uncomfortable bar for watching sports and an upstairs washroom.
Wait staff are friendly and accommodating.
Yet again, go for the drinks - food optional!
