5/5This has been my favorite Mediterranean/Middle Eastern place for the last 12 or so years and probably always will be. Order meat or veggie. You then get several small appetizers, pita bread and your entree which is a mix of various meats (ground meat kabobs, chicken kabob, lamb) or veggies and falafel. The humus (garlicky and creamy not the cumin dominated turkish version) and russian salad cannot be duplicated (trust me I have tried, many many times). Tapas night is a great way to try a bunch of little dishes and really see what all they have to offer. The owners are as charming as the food - it is truly a family run restaurant and they are dedicated to building a relationship with their customers.

3/5love love love the lovely hummus. VERY garlicky. Don't go on Tuesday nights if you want to eat that day - the half-price food and wine brings out half of DFW. The hummus and pita are about the only standout thing though - the chicken seemed dry, the salads lacked flavor - everything else seemed pale in comparison to the one thing they do really well. Kismet next door is worth a stop-in - they play fun international music and draw an eclectic mix of Middle-Easterners and South Americans.

3/5Birthday party. Not mine. Not hers.
Our table of eight or so is a rickety affair, with the end being rather perilously perched next to a step. They need to watch.
Drinks seem to come from nowhere. Undoubtedly someone thought pitchers were a good idea.
A stack of meats on sticks arrives. Rather tasty, I'll admit, but something perhaps cucumber based could have balanced the dish.
Someone on the end wants the restroom. 4 people have to move to accommodate.
Wine selections are ok overall.
Clearly we are not actually ordering anything, but we're doing Medeterrainian omekaze. It's fun, but largely due to the company. The food is somewhat interesting, but like it's tapas cousins, don't expect to leave there full.
If a strong invitation is out there, a repeat visit.
