3/5Capitol Pub is where Uptown begins and East Dallas peters out. It's a nice place. The food is good. The service is bad. That porch is so alluring it drew me out of the Slip Inn on a recent night out with friends from out of town...but after the 3rd or 4th crisp pink button-down I was regretting it, and when the bill came I knew I'd better head back East to my end of town.

He broke his fool neck at House of Blues a few weeks ago, and will be recovering for quite a while.
Beer and Liquor specials, prizes, etc. Starts at 7 pm

4/5Everything I've had here has been delicious. They have a great beer and whisky selection, and the service last time I went was excellent. The only problem is that it gets really loud in there when it's crowded. It is expensive but I think it is worth it.

4/5The place definitely has a pub feel to it. I really long bar through the restaurant, so if you the guy that likes to sit up on a stool, there are many options for you. I like the girls that work there because they talk to you like a friend not a customer. They’ve got a ton of beers but I love their bloody Mary’s. They make them from scratch and spicy too.
Get a salad to start with a raspberry dressing, walnuts, and a creamy cheese. I got a burger the last time and it was seasoned perfectly.
You can dine inside or out. They have a good-sized patio with lots of space and picnic-style tables. There is a pretty view of the area is you sit out front. On the weekends it can get crowded with the neighborhood – favorite time to go.

4/5I think it's a pretty cool place for the most part. Decent drink selections, and it has a pretty comfortable pub-like feel to it. Parking is pretty typical for the K-H area. The only thing that I kind of didn't like is the fact that it's pretty loud and hard to hear anyone.
