Suggest trying the METHI CHICKEN....mmmmmmm with samosa for some appetizers. My son and I's favorite Indian restaurant. They always got some cool videos rocking the place too! I also think the waitresses are very beautiful.

This is my family's fav. dinig location. We love their samosa and chat items. Prices are nominal and service was good. Only thing i dont like about the place is they have the kitchen open to the dinig hall. all the spicy hot air gets in the main dinig area and it really bothers kids, non-indians etc. This just my opinion.

The Law Reviewiers don't have a comment on Gjann's post below. What the Law Reviewers do have, however, is a fond love for the food at Chaat Cafe. Samosas + 1/2 kabob wrap + 1/2 paneer wrap + mango lassi = Aw yeah. If there's one thing the Law Reviewers know, other than everything, it's Indian food.

Interestingly, we've gotten a lot of these credit card claims lately, regarding a variety of restaurants -- this being the first one on Chaat.
The scenario described above doesn't sound that unusual to me. Many restaurants authorize a bit more than the tab to account for the tip. Unless your card got charged beyond the pending stage, which you don't seem to be claiming, this isn't untoward.
Cases of actual unauthorized charges are a different story. We're hearing about these on some other restaurants and are investigating.

I went with my team to Chaat cafe 6550 North MacArthur Boulevard, Suite 100, Irving, 75039, after having my meal I came back and when later I checked my Credit Card statement, whoa... they have charged me extra 5$ (In Pending). I called to confirm and some guy tells me all BS about my credit card company putting that extra charge. I called the credit card company and verified it.
In two days this guy changes the amount back to the actual amount that I owed them.
This is not the first time its happened, I hava couple of friends in the Irving, DFW area and they have experienced this at times.
In short these people are charging extra on our credit cards and on calling they say it happened by mistake or whatever, but this is happening continuously with some one out there, so guys next time you visit chaat cafe make sure you know they are looking to cheat you.
In conclusion, they are trying to even manage the salary of their waiters on our credit card by foul play. And yes the name of the person on the cash register was Ronnie.
Cheers and stay away from the Chaat thug cafe.
