When I first moved to Texas and told people I worked in Las Colinas I was immediately asked if I had been to Cool River. Everyone seemed to have had a smile on their face when they asked. I finally found out why. Cool River is a delicious and respectable place to go to lunch. As a matter of fact it is the classiest stand alone place in and around Las Colinas to have lunch. Ah, but then there's the evening crowd. (And this is what made everyone smile.) A trip to the bar during happy hour is well worth it. There's plenty to see. If you get their in time your stool or your table will become prime real estate when the music starts up. A good time can be had by just sitting back and watching the crowd. I definitely recommend a visit at least once. But don't forget to valet park your jag/hummer/benz out front.
