4/5This steakhouse is not as good as the Dallas staples like Nick & Sam's. That said, it does have a good steak but the grilled quail is the better choice. The lobster is also good. The setting is very rustic and a great place to bring out-of-towners.

4/5Excellent steaks- melt in your mouth good! If you like Quail, I've heard it is very good as well. Sides are always a little unusual and tasty. A little pricey, but worth it!

4/5Culpepper's is one of Rockwall's originals. the atmosphere was unique when it first opened. i.e. the old rusted license plates, and pictures on the wall. The outdoor patio with a outside bar is nice touch in the spring summer & fall. The Chicken fried steak is great! However, don't have too many coctails unless you have a designated driver. Unfortunately Patrons leaving Culpepper's are like fish in a barrel for the local P.D. so be careful!
