The Dallas Theater Center's home base is one of only three existing theaters designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The theater's design was considered bold and innovative, growing out of Wright's Organic Theory of architecture. This theory emphasizes the unification of the building's form and function, the harmony of the building's structure with its natural setting, and the aesthetically pleasing manipulation of space.
