The Dallas West Branch Library is located two blocks west of the intersection of Hampton Road and Singleton Boulevard. Opened in 1975 in response to community needs, the branch was completely renovated in 2004 and is now an inviting, bright spot in the community. It is one of the largest branches in the system. In addition to ESL, GED and computer classes, it offers story times for toddlers, and several programs for children and adults throughout the year.

- Mondays: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursdays: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
