This is my favorite steak restaurant in Dallas. Great steaks and the best ambiance in town. The wine cellar is a wonderful venue for a private party and the lounge is a good place to have a cigar after your meal. Expensive - but the best usually is.

Thanks for the review, Geoff. Just a reminder to all that we provide links to Open Table reservations on our site for any of the restaurants that offer them.
If available, they are shown as "Make a reservation" right above the map on any participating restaurant's page (See above on this listing page).

Del Frisco’s is one of my adored steak places in the area. It’s pretty easy to get to, and even better, you can book an online reservation on OpenTable.
The décor is nice, and I’d venture to say it’s typical of most of the Dallas area steakhouses. Noise levels haven’t seemed a problem, as you can always dine and manage to hear the people you’re with.
And of course, the steaks are divine. I’m not one for the steaks with the really charred top, and Del Frisco’s seems to have the preparation of their steaks down pat.
The wine list was pretty well selected as well. If you want to drop some serious money on a bottle (or two... or three...) you can. But there’s also a decent selection for some of the more budget minded steak-goers out there. I’m not sure if that’s a word or not, but it works.
One of the great things I like about this place is their separate cigar room. This is one of the last bastions of sanctity for those of us who like the occasional after dinner treat. You can eat in the dining room and not even know it’s there. Found behind the mirrored glass of one of the dining rooms, cigar lovers can retreat here to fire up and enjoy their favorite post-steak cigar.

This is one of our favorite places to go on special occasions. We've been burned at so many steakhouses, and Del Frisco's always is consistently perfect. It's also of the best places to go during KRLD's Restaurant Week. They always have a great menu and run longer than most of the other participants.
The decor is most softer than many of the other steakhouses in town and the fireplace adds a nice touch. It's usually crowded, but the sound level doesn't get so high that you can't hear yourself.
The steaks are some of the best in town (I've tried Bob's and was sorely disappointed. Even if you don't eat a steak, their seafood is always fresh and perfectly cooked.
The service is exceptional - you even get a thank you letter from your server in the mail.
