Laurie Anderson Laurie Anderson is indescribably delicious. She's hitting McFarlin tonight with her new show, Homeland, and you can bet it will contain intellectual stimulation and pure unadulterated weirdness in equal measure. An album will follow the Homeland tour in 2009. More info

Great food. As a semi-vegetarian, this place is a hippie haven in corporate Dallas. The food is pretty much amazing. Great greek burger in a pita with pesto and goat cheese had lots of flavor and even what should be blah dishes like the Global Dinner (black beans, brown rice, and cheese fixins') were tasty. Service was a little slow but it's just a chill place. Besides, I'm a broke college student and 1/2 price entrees on Tuesday suit me just fine.

There is also some very nice hummus here, served with crispy pita chips, and the chicken salad is very nice. The service good and the food decent but the menu selction is boring - it's hard to get excited about the same sandwiches 329040293840239 other restaurants have. Also the decor is pretty boring. I seem to remember rainbows and a series of pictures of chairs. I only go here when someone else insists.
