Actually, this was rude and crude behavior on the part of Jenna Keefe. I would have thought that somewhere in her background she would have some education other than being a Parkie. Her group was also using up other business parking as well.

Business seems as good as ever at Drip this morning. Had to park across the street and I even felt a bit guilty as I counted 8 people in line behind me when I asked to load $40 on my Drip card (which took a minute or so longer than usual). Small gesture but perhaps Thatcher will be encouraged when he counts receipts today because I know there were others like myself in there today showing support. Even suspect it my be a record Saturday morning for Drip!

JennaKeefe has posted identical negative feedback about Drip Coffee on a number of websites including the Park Cities People blog Overheard. her comment there unleashed a storm so intense that Merritt Patterson wrote a column about it, in which Keefe revealed herself to be inflexible and without any remorse for her behavior. her campaign against the coffee spot has also included posting negative comments on Yelp, which have since been removed. we don't ordinarily remove comments on Pegasus, so it seemed important to share the backdrop.

Is it just me, or do you have(pardon the pun) beans to grind accordingly with this establishment? Ive been to drip on numerous occasions and had nothing but stellar service from the staff and also had a pretty decent conversation with the manager just recently. No offense, but im not buying your story accordingly.

I have frequented Drip on a weekly basis since it's opening and have been a big supporter of the family owned business. This morning, I hosted a coffee there for a group of parents who came to hear the latest studies related to autism spectrum disorders from a local doctor. I visit Drip enough to know that they normally play the music there very low and parking is often problematic. We had a good showing of parents - about 20 people - and suddenly the music became too loud to hear the doctor's summary of information. When we asked the owner if he would please turn down the music, he refused three separate requests from parents who asked. Then he complained to us that we were not buying enough coffee or food (nearly all of us had bought a cup of coffee, at least), and that we were taking up his parking spaces and tables. There were still 15 minute spaces open at this time in front of Drip and there were at least four empty tables for patrons. On top of all of this, I have learned that Drip was the only company that, when requested by BRAINS for Autism at UT Southwestern, refused to sponsor or contribute to autism research there. The families affected by this poor customer service today have unanimously agreed to spread the word and boycott Drip. Please share this information with your readers. Thank you.
