5/5Love their margaritas. We have been going there for 15 years. Great place to stop after picking someone up from airport.

In all due respect...(and FYI, I mean that) and in no way intending to be a curmudgeon: (Grumpy perverse bastard) I have to laugh when I read reviews of Mexican restaurants in and around Dallas, which sooner or later, if positive, pronounce it to be 'one of the best in' (fill in the blank...Dallas/Metroplex).
I recently read that there are in Dallas proper alone an estimated 4,400 Mexican establishments from Taquerias to full service. Then consider the diversity of the Mex cuisines offered: Tex Mex, Austin Style, San Antonio. Styles: Durango, Hidalgo, Pueblo, Mex. City, Veracruz. Etc, etc. etc. Street food styles, refined cuisines.
With all this in mind, expand your review sphere to the larger metro area and I would guesstimate we're talking in the neighborhood of an easy 8,000 places to eat “Mexican” food. And that's probably a low ball. If one of us set out to find the 'Best' of all Dallas/Dallas area Mexican eateries, they would have a coronary before the first round of reviews ever went to press.
Bottom line: "Disfruta!"

4/5I was just there on Sunday. The wait staff wasn't very attentive. The food was pretty good though. The queso was awesome.. It actually tasted like cheese vs. some other Tex-Mex places that have other kinds of rubbery faux cheese ingredients!

5/5Esparza's has great food and drinks and a nice, casual atmosphere. I think it's one of the best Mexican restaurants in the metroplex!
