Fadi's comes from the DiMassi family (scroll down a bit) who are based in Houston, where Fadi's (and DiMassi's) was first launched

Well, I know the guy Fadi, who's family used to have the restaurant right next to Worldwide Foods. He went to El Centro a gillion years ago. I was just wondering if anyone knew if the same family ran Fadi's.

Does anyone know if the Fadi's restaurants are associated with the old Worldwide Foods on Greenville?

This one has a slight advantage over the Knox-Henderson location in that you serve yourself on the veg stations, allowing more customization of your choices. As with all Fadi's, solid mediterranean food; insane portions; good price.

I went with a co-worker who didn't like it at all, and I think he had a hard time finding something to eat. Which is a little odd considering I know I'm more of a finicky eater. If you like Mediterranean food, you'll probably do well here. I went during lunch and the service was pretty good, and came out rather quickly. At the very least, it's healthier than a lot of the other choices out there. Worth giving it a shot at least once.
