Fadi's comes from the <a href="http://www.pegasusnews.com/news/2008/dec/19/best-bites-dining-out-dallas-fort-worth-december-1/">DiMassi family</a> (scroll down a bit) who are based in Houston, where Fadi's (and DiMassi's) was first launched

Well, I know the guy Fadi, who's family used to have the restaurant right next to Worldwide Foods. He went to El Centro a gillion years ago. I was just wondering if anyone knew if the same family ran Fadi's.

Does anyone know if the Fadi's restaurants are associated with the old Worldwide Foods on Greenville?

4/5This one has a slight advantage over the Knox-Henderson location in that you serve yourself on the veg stations, allowing more customization of your choices. As with all Fadi's, solid mediterranean food; insane portions; good price.

3/5I went with a co-worker who didn't like it at all, and I think he had a hard time finding something to eat. Which is a little odd considering I know I'm more of a finicky eater. If you like Mediterranean food, you'll probably do well here. I went during lunch and the service was pretty good, and came out rather quickly. At the very least, it's healthier than a lot of the other choices out there. Worth giving it a shot at least once.
