Fellowship Bible Church Dallas, a 2,000-member non-denominational bible church at Meadow and Central Expressway, opened the doors of its new location in the former United Artists theater at Park Lane and Central.
The church includes a Worship Center that occupies three former theaters with approximately 1,100 theater style seats. The remaining five theaters and the former retail portions have been transformed into spacious areas for adult, student and children's ministry programs and a 250-seat Chapel. A former restaurant and bar has been converted into the church's Fellowship Hall, complete with catering and banquet capabilities that will seat up to 250 guests at dining tables and 350 theater style seating arrangement. There will also be a coffee shop, bookstore on the first floor and an outside patio deck on the 2nd level. The church is located on nine acres and includes a four-story parking garage. A recreational area with basketball and sand volleyball courts is planned for the top of the garage.
Fellowship Bible Church Dallas, which also goes by the name of “Fellowship Dallas,” was originally planted in the Park Cities in 1977. It moved from its original location at Boedeker and Northwest Highway to the Meadow and Central Expressway location in 1993.
