Fish City is a decent place to grab some lunchtime seafood. I mean, it’s not some place that I’d think of at night when I’ve got the munchies for seafood. But for the price it’s not bad, and generally they’ll have a few things listed on the blackboard of their specials of the day. The fried catfish could stand to be a little crispier, but if you get this and some waffle fries, you should get a pretty good bang for the buck pricewise. If you’re hitting up this location, it’s best to get there early as it fills up pretty quickly. Then you’re stuck waiting inside the doorway for a table to open up… good luck with that during lunch hour rush at this intersection. You’ll probably be relegated to wandering over to Jason’s Deli at that point.
But overall, pretty much anyone going can find something they’ll eat. Be adventurous and try one of the specials, usually at least one of them is a nice treat.
