3/5Good restaurant to take kids to, catfish was good, serving sizes are small, good fries and cole slaw, children will like the environment though.

4/5This is another one of my fish places. If you like Hook Line Sinker on McKinney, you will like this. I am not sure who ripped off who or if they are co-owned but these restaurants are definitely similar (on some things I would even say identical) in style, menu and taste. The menu is expansive offering plenty of grilled options, cajun items and everything fried. Like my other favorites, this is not fine dining seafood - it is good down home cooking with basic fish in a casual atmosphere. The fried shrimp is my favorite. You wait in line to order and then find a seat. If you are lucky, you might find a spot on the picnic tables out front. Park on the top level of the center garage in Preston Center and you can usually get a space near the stairs that lead down to the corner where Flying Fish is located.
