This is an elegant, well-run full service Italian restaurant. Bread with olive oil, pastas, pizzas, all with impeccable service. I had lasagne...cheesy wonderful. This tiny place is on the way to Stonebriar Mall it has certainly earned a spot on my map. Prices were surprising low in my opinion.

We went tonight and were VERY, VERY,VERY DISAPPOINTED. Their A.C. was not working for starters and instead of kindly informing customers they did nothing and it was HOT. They cleared our salads out from underneath us and with full mouths we could not say anything as they walked away so abruptly. The food was not all that tasty. I ordered Chicken Fontana (I think it was called) and the Chicked was VERY DRY. We were not even fully ejected from our seats and away from the table and they were rushing us out the door. Removed our highchair before our son was fully out of it. I called the Manager afterwards and expressed my dissatisfaction and he seemed TO CARE LESS!! We will NOT return and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I'm sure there are PLENTY other Italian restaurants in the area better than this and Macaroni Grill is 10 times better anyway not to mention Olive Garden etc.

I agree with red. The place is three or four minutes from my house. I don't cook, love Italian food, am pretty easygoing, cheap, support independent businesses every chance I get, and yet have only been there twice. This is because it is truly abysmal. If you want Olive Garden quality food served to you by a surly Albanian at top prices, washed down with a glass of cheap wine open for days, by all means go. Why in Fort Worth we have such loyalty to the place, I don't know. Our problem, however, as a city, is that there is nothing between La Piazza and Fortuna quality and price-wise. Its either Albanian red sauce joints at ten bucks a head, or Bella West at about a gajillion. My rant is over now.

Fortuna's pizza &pasta is a real good family restaurant. The food is the best in fort worth if you ask me. The prices are to cheap, if they wanted the could charge way way more. Overall this is the perfect place for a great quality time with your loved ones. The service is amazingly great, and they owners treat you like your part of there family.

I go there all the time with my friends from school. The food is amazing the best in town. However one of the owners I think his name was Ray is someone I don't want to see when I go there. He seems to always try to find his way with the ladies and even tried to flirt with us. Other than him I recommed this place to everyone the food and service is AMAZING!!!

Same thing happened to me as blondie1985. I love the food and service but the owner makes me feel uncomfortable. I used to go there all the time but not anymore. I would still recommend this place for the food, but girls watch out because you will get hit on. Overall the place is still good.

My family USED TO be regulars at this restaurant, but unfortunately it is under new ownership and has drastically declined. On February 14th, 2012, I had a reservation for 12 for my daughters 5th birthday. I understand that Valentines Day is traditionally a very busy night for restaurants, which is why I made the reservation over a week in advance. When we arrived, we were informed that pizzas, calzones, strombolis, and childrens menu were not being served. OK…….should have mentioned that when I made a reservation, but we said that was fine and moved on.

She then went on to tell us that they would not be separating checks because it was Valentines Day. Another thing that would have been great to tell me when making my reservation….

After 20 minutes of visiting with family, the waitress still had not taken our order (drinks or food). When we asked her if we could order, she pointed out that 2 of our 12 seats were still empty. I informed her that we weren’t going to wait any longer and we wanted to start. She took our order and rudely informed us there is a $5 “plate charge” for splitting meals. Seems a bit ridiculous to charge $5 to split a $7.95 entrée, but whatever. My grandparents each ordered a side salad with their entrée ($3 extra). The waitress only brought them 1 and got the dressing wrong. By this point they were so hungry, they just started sharing it. Pathetic……

Shortly after salads were eaten, the two additional family members joined us. The waitress asked them if they wanted to order and they informed her that they had a late lunch and would just get a salad and look over the menu. 15 minutes later she came back and asked them again, and my Uncle said that he was fine with the salad. Here’s a great part….wait for it…..She then went on to say “OK then, I will go ahead and put everyone else’s order in”…… WHAT?? It had already been over 30 minutes since she took our order and she hadn’t even put it in. When we asked her to clarify that statement and confirm what we thought she said she rudely stated “Yeah, don’t you all want your food to come out together?!”

The rest of the meal was pathetic. Drinks were not refilled. Glasses of wine that were ordered were not served, and I had to bus the table myself in order to get it cleared for cake. When I asked for small dessert plates for the cake I was informed there is a $1 per plate charge! We said “forget it” and decided to go to my Dad’s house to do the cake.

The waitress overcharged us by $10 for “plate charges”, charged for wine and soft drinks that were ordered but never brought for the table, and added her 18% gratuity AFTER tax. We had to show her the mistakes and also the correct amount and how we came to that calculation (don’t over change a table full of banking executives, teachers, and business majors). Once she corrected the amount she left her gratuity (post-tax) the same. Ugh… The waitress went to ask the manager and his only response was, “Just get them out of here, I need that table!.” Great customer service!!

We will NEVER return. Hope they go bankrupt.
