5/5Love everything about this place. The burgers are amazing and the beer selection is excellent. I'm working my way through both the beers & the burgers! The outside patio is happily dog-friendly and the interior is just amazing. Check out the Banksy artwork in the bathrooms!

1/5Am I the only one who is not particularly in love with this place. I excitedly awaited it's opening but it seems that they are trying too hard. Everyone I've talked to would have loved at least 2-3 great German beers on tap instead of 30 obscure, wheaty ones. During both of our visits, the waitresses had attitude. On our second visit, I ordered a burger, medium and received it practically raw. I asked the waitress if it could be cooked a little more. She (with attitude) took it away and about 10 minutes later, brought me back half a burger cooked more???? Maybe, there are just some kinks to work out. I'll try it one more time just because I want to like it so much.

dischw, i suppose it's hard to please everyone but i absolutely love the beer selection at Goodfriend. i'm not sure what German beers you would like to see, but i'm a big fan of the increasing number of texas and american craft beers, and i applaud Goodfriend's desire to support more local and regional brews. it seems like you can buy a number of German beers at many neighborhood supermarkets but many of the beers Goodfriend is pouring are not available elsewhere. they do swap them out regularly so you get to try many different kinds, too
