This is my version of Cheers. Everybody knows me here. I have heard some of the best jazz in the state of Texas ....as well as some of the worst. The Greenhouse is the proving ground for many of the students in jazz studies at UNT.

The stuffed poblano is excellent and the black beans here are the best I've tasted anywhere.

Wonderful cheap drinks. You can beat the martitnis or beer specials.

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner at the Greenhouse, and it was by far one of the best decisions I made in my entire wedding planning process. Nicole Probst made planning the event a dream, and she went above and beyond in making it a personalized, special event, rather than just setting aside a room for us. Our servers were wonderful and efficient and had great attitudes. Our guests had a wonderful time, the food was fantastic, and I'll recommend the Greenhouse to anyone -- whether for large events or just an everyday spot for dinner and/or drinks.

where do i start? the greenhouse is such a big part of my life here in denton, it's hard to describe it objectively. so i won't try. i love this place. the servers are excellent, and so friendly, the manager is amazingly competent, the jazz on monday and thursday nights is incomparable (no cover! every week! seriously!), and the food is delicious (see: avocado tacos, greek pizza, black bean burger, sweet potato fries, chips with warm salsa and queso....). all food is reasonably priced, and they run happy hour specials on weekdays as well--they vary, so check the website for the latest info.

if it's not mild outside (when i would want a patio table), i need a seat in the bar area. no question. the deep, dark leather booths, the cozy tables, the sturdy barstools. yes, ma'am. sometimes it's hard to believe this wonderful establishment is within ridiculously easy walking distance of my house. if i didn't have to pay rent, i'd be here every night.
