I happen to be German, so I love this place. Our church has a monthly dinner night out and the restaurant can handle 20 parishers on a Saturday night. The desserts are fantastic and you will probably purchase something from the deli before you leave. The potatoe pancakes with applesauce are my favourites. There is a grocery store with German foods. An accordianist will take polka requests. The service is super. A great place to entertain folks from out of town. It is located behind the Half Price Book Store near Central and Northwest Highway, although you would never see it unless you knew it was there.

It is really traditional German food and sausages. They have a bakery and petite grocery inside as well. You can get a variety of sausages, and the first time I went I got a lesson on the difference between them all. The dishes are served with a traditional boiled potato that is so simple but so delicious. They do different kind of sandwiches and single sausages too. That is my usual order. You can dine in at their small café or call in an order Togo. The prices are very reasonable.
