3/5We took friends here last night to celebrate their engagement. This place has an atmosphere for anyone. Looking for swanky sushi bar experience - check. How about a romantic candlelit Japanese dinner - check. Or perhaps a large party / celebration tappan style dinner with flaming volcanos and eggs flying through the air - yes sir they have that too. The sushi was excellent - Albacore we tried. The Tappan style dinner, not only entertaining but the most tender Filet Mignon we've had in a long time. My scallops were cooked perfectly, as well as the NY Strip. I'd definitely go again. After our chef was finished with his "show" our normal waiter was on slow mode, so have to bump down a few points there. Not cheap - so bring your credit card!

4/5We made a quick decision to try this place last night before catching a movie at Valley View. Really impressed with it! Wait staff was outstanding, however the sushi chef forgot one of our rolls and doubled up on another. 20 minutes later we still didn't have the one we ordered and needed to leave. The manager apologized, deducted charges, etc, so not a big deal. Great 1/2 price bottles of wine the night we were there. Really nice presentation of the sushi. We will go back soon.

3/5This seems like a quirky kind of sushi joint. Right when the night starts getting later, it almost turns into a night club but there just doesn’t seem to be a big enough crowd to support it. There’s usually two bartenders there and every so often they’ll crank up some music and show off their flair. Most of my friends like their sushi offerings, but I’m just not completely into sushi. So, their offerings of grilled items in the past hasn’t been that great. I’ve usually stuck with a chicken dish and for some reason I’m still hungry afterwards. I think this is a pretty good area to start off your night for a quick bite and some drinks at the bar. The location isn’t bad considering it’s really close to the Tollway and 635.
