4/5I know there's some gossip about this place's owner being an ex of whoever owns Cafe Madrid...well, whatever. This place in my opinion is much better than Cafe Madrid. The food has always been better, the space is better and the service is better.
We like the idabazal cheese with big chunks of bread, spanish red wine, tortillas, muscles and their shrimp dishes.
You won't be disappointed.

3/5Park on the street and avoid the valet damages.
Tables are somewhat on the small side. Wait staff are friendly, if perhaps a little pushy in advising extra dishes. She comments we know all ready! We are again reminded the kitchen will be closing soon. I again, suggest that we leave if they have some place to be.
Not enough room on table for variety of plates and drinks. Wine selection not too bad.
Outside space a nice touch.
Blue cheese tenderloin is not in major distress, but the sauce threatens to suffocate. Chorizo mixes into a pepperoni like accent to the fresh breads.
Patrons are the usual K-Hs.
Opportunity to visit Salsa night at Tijuana on Sundays in another review right across street.
Be prepared to leave a decent chunk out of your wallet and stop at Jack in the Box or Metro Grill on your way home. It is the way of the tapa.
