I am not impressed. I am so unimpressed, I won't even sugar coat my visit to this place. The shrimp and grits were just down right disgusting. The shrimp was small (think pinky finger) and oddly breaded and seasoned. They sat on big pile of mushy tasteless grits and had absolutely no sauce to even liven it up a bit. If you like Hattie's just make the trip over and spare yourself the extreme disappointment. Neither my husband nor I really touched them other than to move stuff around to see if something better might reside underneath. The only saving grace was my daughter's bacon which we all shared. The service was generally poor and the waiter never even asked why we returned two full plates of food. Perhaps if he had, they might have learned from the experience. Instead, they are getting this really crappy review and no repeat business.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard

I asked what a Steakburger is and the friendly staff stated "it is a very high grade of lean beef that is hand-crafted" thin on the edges and thicker in the middle. This makes for carmelization on the edges and a juicy center. The Hawaiian is a must eat on the custard menu. I will definitely be bringing my friends!
