Humperdinks has never been a favorite of mine. At any of them the food just seems to lack any real depth of flavor, which is surprising because at one time I know they used secret shoppers. This location used to allow smoking, and they went non-smoking some time ago. But to me, that nasty smoke smell still lingers. Yack! The only time I’m forced to go is when a vendor comes in and is springing for lunch, but nowadays in the Richardson area, there’s plenty of other choices to choose from. I think it’s one of those places you end up at for a happy hour when nobody can agree on where to go.
