2/5I tried this place out on the recommendation of a friend. Expected a Mexican food dive, but was surprised by a trendier modern eatery. The menu was not what I would consider traditional. The prices were also less than traditional. I was in the mood for cheap and cheerful and what I got was moderately priced food that lacked in flavor. Sadly I was not impressed by the service or the food. The service was slow and the food was what I would describe as watered down. Low on the flavor you would expect from traditional Mexican or Tex-Mex. It's close to home, but I won't be back.

3/5This place has been in Irving for a very long time. Nothing too special, but not bad either. I've noticed it has a large dedicated following.
Very friendly staff and it has a fun and lively atmosphere on the weekends with live music.
