Pavel Lishin says:
I just want to know whether his wife and he disagreed on the awesomeness of the onion rings, or whether he prefers the company of the onion rings to that of his wife. It's phrased kind of ambiguously.

FWIW, dsmith's email addy indicates that he either is the Matt referenced in the review or might have an unhealthy obsession with same. (First and last name matches with the results of a call to the establishment.)
Doesn't mean that the restaurant isn't wonderful or that "the Matt special" is less than advertised. Just useful information in evaluating the review..

4/5Overall:
4/5From the moment I walked in I was amazed at the level of urbanism that was put into such a fine place (very un-collin county but in a good way). The hostess guided me through the dining room as I was astonished by the huge wall of wines. The server(Matt) was very friendly and professional. He found the perfect balance of knowing when to step in and when to allow us to enjoy each others company. It It is the kind of service you would expect from a five star dining establishment. He suggested a few appetizers for us, the duck spring rolls which were absolutely delicious along with a flat bread that is off the menu, a spinach and artichoke pizza with chicken! It was so good we named it "the matt", so be sure and ask for it on your next visit. The bottle of wine was affordable and and very enjoyable. I had the "catch of the day" and my wife had the beef tenderloin with roasted garlic which were both excellent. Matt was even corteous enough to suggest the onion rings which i enjoyed a little more than my wife!!!! At this point we asked Matt to just bring us his favorite dessert(since he had been so on point the entire evening). He brought us the bread pudding, it was so absolutely delicious I wanted to call my mother and rub it in her face. Matt then went as far as getting us a spot upstairs in the lounge area for us to enjoy our after dinner drinks. Bottom line with this place is a wonderful atmosphere with a very unique setting, great food, but the most outstanding service I've ever found in Dallas. From The host when I walked in, all the way up to the management that stopped by the table. So check it out, tell them you want Matt, and tell Matt you want the "Matt Special!"
