The people of Lone Oak Winery are crass and unprofessional. I've seen firsthand how people who have been in their employ are treated. They treat people in their employ as if they didn't matter. If they treat their employees in such ways imagine how they treat their guests. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Would like to say that all of my experiences at Lone Oak have been great. The music events they have are a fun place to invite friends to get together. The staff have always been extremely friendly, helpful and professional....and last but not least for a local Texas Winery their choices are good. I just had Christmas gifts shipped from Lone Oak and they couldn't be more accomidating. My advice to others would be "Try It, You Too Might Like It"

I visited Lone Oak winery for the first time over a year ago. Before leaving on my first visit, I felt like I was talking with old friends. The tasting room staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome...so much so that I asked them to consider me if they ever needed help. After a few months of returned visits to enjoy some wine on the patio, I became a tasting room employee, and I have never regretted it. I have a full-time job beyond working at Lone Oak, so I do not work this job out of necessity for income, but because I enjoy being there so much. I call it my 'fun job', and I am not alone in this situation. Nearly every tasting room employee works at Lone Oak because they want to, not because they 'need' to. Our business thrives on customer service and good wine. I hope that anyone who is considering a visit to our winery for a fun, friendly experience and good wine will do so and see for themselves what we are all about.

I am not a paid employee of Lone Oak Winery, but I can attest to how the wonderful owners of the winery treat their staff, volunteers and customers. The owners are the most caring and down-to-earth people anyone can meet. They truly have a joy and passion for what they do. They definitely go beyond the call of duty when it comes to the winery staff as well as the many volunteers. They are always willing to share their knowledge of the industry, their generosity and their hearts. They have surrounded themselves with just as passionate a staff who always take care of the customers first. This is evident in the number of return customers who come out for the great wine and great company. I have volunteered numerous times for the winery. Whether it is out in the summer sun harvesting grapes or shuffling food back and forth during a winter concert, I could not think of anywhere else I would rather be.
