4/5the loophole is my favorite bar on the denton square. i'm more of a "let's meet for dinner and catch up with each other over a couple of draft beers" kind of person than an "it's friday night, let's go drink oddly-named, cheap mixed drinks that will aid in the illusion that all these obnoxious strangers are our friends" person, so i usually go during off hours, when there's a pleasant social hum and relaxed vibe.
this bar has a great elevated section of comfy booths to settle in, a pool table upstairs, and menu selections with names like "constitutional cheese fries" and "misdemeanor nachos." i know, it's sad. but it's my bar in my town, and i'm proud of the kitsch.
