5/5I visit Los Lupes #3 quite frequently.
Try the Cheese & Onion Enchiladas. I am not normally a big fan of enchiladas, but these are excellent. The onions are cooked inside the enchiladas with the cheese, infusing them with flavor. They are topped with a wonderful chili con carne. It is served with rice and your choice of refried or charro beans. I usually opt for the refried beans, but the charro beans are good too. At $5.50 a plate, this is a bargain for excellent enchiladas. If you visit on Monday, this item is the daily special and only costs $3.99!
On Thursday, the Restaurant offers dollar draft beer and live entertainment. In addition to the typical domestics, you can also get Dos XX Amber for a dollar! "David y Carlos" are excellent musicians, playing a mix of pop, country, and tejano. They take requests, and know how to please the crowd.
The Thursday special is Pechuga De Pollo. It is a tender grilled chicken breast smothered in Monterrey Jack cheese and sautéed mushrooms, served on a sizzling skillet with a bed of onions and peppers. It comes with your typical "fajita" fixin’s and tortillas.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
