1/5Lover's Egg Roll is a horrible excuse for Chinese food. Went once. Never, never again! Argh!

1/5will keep this simple. Ordered an entree (Sesame Chicken) and 2 egg rolls. The egg rolls were luke warm and tasteless (looked like it they were reheated) and the chicken for the entree was so gristly and fatty, and for the first time in my life, i could not finish a meal. Told the lady on duty, and at no point was it even checked as to how bad it was. their response was, well i will inform the manager (who was not even there) Please note i ate in house and it was not delivered.

1/5Oh, you'll wish you didn't.
Sure, dredging downtown / uptown for Chinese in Dallas is a pretty bad proposition, but it gets worse as you park outside of Lover's Egg Roll.
The dinge is only moderate and besides the smallish menu, there are some other dishes on the whiteboard at front.
Nothing is exceptionally interesting looking, and a large majority of the dishes fall into the breaded meat deep fried and slathered with non commital sauce category.
We figure a place that names itself after egg rolls must have something to prove. The egg rolls need some major work.
I'm not sure it would even be palatable while intoxicated. Might be worth a try on some other subjects in an experiment, but I'll pass.
