The Garden Shelters are one main event by Lumino Light artist, Lenie Swendinger from New York, who happend to have been choosen to create a first of its kind Arts/Kenetic type format for an inner city project, quite original and diffrent compard to other location Parks downtown..thus a new kind of feeling does exist with these kinds of Park concepts..now in production..........
The Park presents more hope that Inner City has at last come to a way of serving all types in the community arena...that has come to exist for the 1st decade in the 21st Century for Dallas Texas....A/T,..Urban Observer...

4/5The park itself has become the 'living room' for the homeless in the downtown area. That is not to say it is to be overlooked as a great escape in the midst of the city. The crew at The Lily Pad are very diligent at keeping the downtown safety patrol on hand, and in 'taking back the park'. That's what they are doing in not hesitating at all to contact the police should any sort of problem arise. Don't rule it out as a place to stop by when you have no real lunch plans, or for a really good beer selection after work.
