Just got introduced to this place by my brother-in-law and was very impressed with the food. Chicken fried steak was the best I'd had in a while, and mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans and cornbread were all fantastic. Service took a while to get to us, but was great once we ordered. I'll definitely be back.

I love this place. I'm pretty sure Mama was the one who started Norma's in Oak Cliff. Great home-cookin! Wonderful rolls, biscuits, chicken fried steak, etc....But save room for dessert. The homemade pies are sooo yummy!I love the chocolate meringue. They are always packed at lunch time, and can sometimes run out of pies. Make sure you go ahead and order your dessert when you place your order. Waitresses are characters. Very sweet.
