About as much fun you can have at a restaurant. Manny's is always packed on a Friday night, and with good reason -- the food is good, and the atmosphere, whether on the patio or even waiting for a table, is fantastic. My vote for "place to take an out-of-towner for a Tex-Mex experience."

My comments apply to the Addison location near Midway and Beltline: Manny's has become my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant. Their cheese enchiladas, as well as their sour-cream chicken enchiladas, put others in town to shame. The prices are modest, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is fast and friendly. Be sure and leave room for their Sopapillas or Tres Leches Cake.

Entirely concur re: the sour cream chicken enchiladas, btw. Also, I dig their margaritas and overall atmosphere. Gotta say that I like the Uptown one more than Addison, but both are A+...especially at lunchtime.

4/5Per my comment below (not a review, mind you!), can't get enough of the food. Margaritas kick ass, especially while sitting outside under the tall trees on a nice day. Definitely tops my chart of uptown restaurants to have lunch at.

4/5Great patio. Great margaritas. Excellent enchiladas. Great salsa. Hell I really don't have anything bad to say about the place..

Unfortunately, Manny is no longer involved in the daily operation of his namesake restaurant - he was underhandly voted out by his 2 partners. Also Manny is not Mia's brother, he is her uncle.
