Great Food! This is a new location that moved from Old Towne. They did a good job in creating a fun atmosphere.
The chips and salsa are very good, if you get some queso too they're even better.
I had the tacos on my last visit and they were great. A few jalapenos, and tomato pieces in the meat gave it a good flavor without making it too hot or spicy.
The to go parking spots also make it a good place to pick up food quickly. The two times I've picked up food the spots were open, which made it easy to run in and out.
Definitely good food and a great atmosphere.

Mariano's is truely a Dallas institution.like wmdmomma said they are the home of the frozen margarita. their 1st frozen margarita machine is in the smithsonian, Enough said!
ok, here we go! Unfasten those belts, pop the button!
The food is excellent. For starters the table side quacamole is a great way to begin the tastey extravaganza! The spicey chicken Verde is a wonderful entre. The salsa's are very tastey, and very unique in flavor definately one of a kind. When you go make sure you get a punch card of "buy 10 get one free" I could rave on, and on about this place.
It is kid friendly with the pinata room for parties, and coin-op rides outside.

This place is FUN FUN FUN whether on a date or with the family! The big bear is a fun greeting to younger kids - and Mariano's is the birthplace of the FROZEN MARGARITA! Margaritas are wonderful and the dishes are familiar in arrangement but excellent as far as Tex Mex goes. Next time you make that Sunday afternoon trip to Super Target, pull in to Mariano's afterwards!
