4/5I had the opposite experience of jordananica; we needed to get in and out fast (I know, it's a shame) because we had a play to go to afterwards, and the staff bent over backwards to serve us speedily. I know it was in their own best interests, but still it is not always the case that a restaurant will help you out when you are in a hurry. I was pleased. Besides, the food was very good and the margaritas were really fun.

5/5If you have not yet tried this place you are missing out. The duck tacos and margaritas are to die for. We have never had problems reserving a table or tables for special events. The staff is always friendly and willing to suggest new items from the menu. My new favorite are the quesadillas zocalo. Enjoy!

1/5Very cute little neighborhood restaurant. A bit over priced but would be worth it except for the terrible customer service. I live in directly across from this restaurant and have visited it on several occasions in the past 2 months that it has been open.
I am having family come in town for a birthday party and would have liked to take them to eat at this restaurant but was told that they could not take any reservations for any Saturday this entire month due to an unrelated event that is going on outside the restaurant. The event has nothing to do specifically with Masaryk and would maybe only effect the patio if anything at all. I have no desire to sit on the patio so this has nothing to do with me.
I understand completely that a restaurant would not want to have a large party table reserved if we were only hanging out for the event outside, However, I have a party of 10 all of which would have ordered food and drinks and would be celebrating a birthday, not the neighborhood event. The fact that they are new and turning down customers is very alarming. They even went to the head owner and chef of the restaurant to see if he would make an exception for our party but he denied it as well. I instead called the much nicer and more expensive restaurant across the street and made a reservation which they gladly accepted. I will never again eat at Masaryk or recommend it to a friend or a neighbor.
