In my opinion, a very underrated restaurant. Top-notch service that isn't pretentious, a quiet and cozy dining room, and perfectly prepared food.
Went there for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. The meal starts with fresh bread and complimentary house-made pate. The Couscous Carbonara appetizer is out of this world. Duck Confit was served with the best lentils I've ever had.
The veal chop was fantastic, juicy and tender and served with a delicious glaze that wasn't overly sweet like I've found at other restaurants.
For dessert, Grand Marinier soufflé's were light and fluffy as air. The only complaint was that the sauce could've used more alcohol.
Service was some of the best I've ever had. The food came out quickly and was perfectly paced. The waiter was miraculously around when we needed him and absent when we didn't. Dishes were whisked away quickly, but not until they were licked clean. Every dish was beautifully presented.
Expensive, but considering all the bad experiences at high-end restaurants, it has been added to our list of special occasion destinations.
