5/5I have had some of the worst service I have EVER had here - completely ignored by our waitress - I understand that it gets very busy, but having cocktailed and bartended for years, I know that if you can't get to your tables as fast as you'd like, a smile or hint of a good attitude will carry you through it, most of the time. I've been in once or twice that the service has been good, but most of the time I leave annoyed.
That said, I keep going back. The food is incredible. The Guiness steak sandwich is the only thing I've ever had because it was literally so good I can't bear to be there and not have it. It's huge but so delicious I eat the entire thing every time, even though I promise myself that "this time" I'll take half home. I don't think their fries are the best, so I get a cup of the Cream of Jalepeno soup instead - divine! If you can get there on a Wednesday the value is unbeatable. I'd eat there anytime.

3/5I'd just like to second this comment about the service stinking here. Even when the service happened to be attentive, no one ever seems to give a rat's * whether or not you are there.
All of the food was great. The cheese plate is phenomenal - good selection (smoked Gouda yum). Jalapeno soup is superb (most of the time) - just enough kick to let you know it's there. 3 cheese grilled cheese was absolutely great - almost too much cheese. Veggie burger is really good - one of the better homemade vb's in Dallas. Also, portabella mushroom sandwich was wonderful. The breads they use are extremely fresh - not sure where they get them, but they add quite a bit to the overall quality of their sandwiches. Oohh, and the portabella fries are a must-have - breaded and fried just right.
Wednesday nights used to be half-price food, which made the reasonable prices even more so, but we haven’t been back in a while, so I can’t guarantee they still do this. We haven’t been back mainly b/c the indifferent service eventually overshadowed the food.
Bar service is generally much better than table service – if you can grab a seat at the bar, do so. Decent selection of draft beers, plus their mixed drinks are not bad (I don’t remember which days they have mixed-drink specials, but they make a good mojito).

5/5The place is long and slender, just like the bar with an array of good eats. The bartenders are nice & tell a good joke.
I love their sweet potato fries. They are hand cut and seasoned with a little bit of cayenne pepper, cinnamon, & sugar. You can order them as an appetizer or as a side item with your meal. The turkey & brie sandwich is another staple of mine. Granny smith apples, thick cut turkey, and huge chunk of brie bring the sandwich together on slice of sourdough.
Parking can be an issue if the small lot behind the place is full. You’ll have to pay if you drive but most are in the neighborhood and walk over. On Wednesdays they have half-priced food – good deal for a good plate and a cold lager.
